Your baby is almost 1! Where did the last year go??? One thing I looked SO forward to with my daughter was designing a simple cake smash session for her. I'm a fairly simple person and it was so fun finding the perfect handmade outfit, headband and even making her cake stand from scratch (I couldn't find one anywhere that I loved.) Interested in other baby milestones within the first year? I also offer a first year bundle going from maternity or newborn through the cake smash, as well as standalone milestone sessions. My favorite milestones are 6 and 12 months or 4, 8 and 12 months. At 4 months baby is confident on their tummy and holding their head up. At 8 months most babies can sit up unassisted. At 12 months your little one can usually stand on their own or with a little help. 6 months is right in the middle of newborn to cake smash and baby has their tiny personality on full display.
